Oregon in its 10x50 version is a slightly larger and slightly heavier piece than its siblings in the series, for those who are looking for higher detail resolution without sacrificing the light in the image.
It provides a good depth of field even in poorer lighting conditions. The new generation has phase-coating which provides slightly higher light transmission and better contrast in the image. Robust rubber reinforcement, long eye-relief (but only two positions on the eyecups - screwed up or screwed down at the bottom if you wear glasses) and diopter adjustment in a traditional knob on the right eyepiece. The binoculars are nitrogen filled for full tightness. Despite the size and performance, the weight is relatively low. The near limit is good, while the field of view is somewhat limited. Supplied with case, wide neoprene strap and eyepiece protection and field-specific rubber lens caps.
