An easily accessible book for those who want to, but don't know how to start approaching the wild.
It shows what we can all experience, for free, almost anywhere in our long country. A joy-filled book that with humor and warmth takes you right up close to our fantastic animal life. For 20 years, the photographer Kristoffer Sahlén has followed the animal life in the home forest. Everything from the small guests of the bird table to giants such as lynx, golden eagle and moose come to visit outside the cabin at the edge of the forest. Extra photographic effort has been devoted to badgers and deer and the image material is probably quite unique. Kristoffer Sahlén works as a teacher of photography at upper secondary level as well as a nature photographer focusing mainly on forest animals and birds. He is a popular speaker and his pictures appear in hunting, nature and photography magazines. He is a member of the association Naturfotograferna/N.
