Swarovski pushes the boundaries of what is possible to experience with binoculars!
With the modular system, you can "build" your binoculars yourself based on your needs. The system has already been optimized for photography on the drawing board. The X stands for innovation, maximum comfort, flexibility and quality. This is the second largest and brightest lens for the most demanding user. Despite this, they have managed to keep the weight and format within reasonable limits. What you gain in light and magnification, you lose to some extent in reduced field of view and poorer close range, however, the field of view is not perceived as cramped in any way compared to the ATX 85. With its length, the tube is also unusually well balanced. Zooming takes place in a large grooved ring at the front of the eyepiece, which means big advantages compared to traditional systems:
It enables one-handed grip to both focus and vary the magnification. With the other hand, you have full control over steering the tube and, if necessary, shooting through it. With both digiscoping and telephoto photography with SLR systems, you can easily zoom to get the best possible composition on your image. The lens is cast in lightweight magnesium and rubber-reinforced with extendable rain/light protection. The ring that surrounds the lens has 8 lockable steps for different angles. Every part of the new system is nitrogen-filled and waterproof down to a depth of 4 meters, even as separate parts. The function is guaranteed in the temperature range -25°C - +55° and the outer lenses are coated with SwaroClean which has a repellent effect on water and dirt. The fluorite-containing HD lenses are treated with SwaroDur and SwaroTop surface treatments for best contrast and natural color reproduction. They state a light transmission of 86% through the entire system. The module is delivered with a protective cover and coarse sieve.
