Japanese Kowa has been manufacturing binoculars since 1952 and 15 years ago they had a small predecessor called the TS-501 in the range.
With the TSN-501 with 20-40x zoom, Kowa is back on the market with an extremely small and light tube that is easy to carry, whether you are watching at home or on the move a lot. The polycarbonate housing is connected to the design language that pervades Kowa's current tube range, but lacks a pull-out lens hood and only has a focusing wheel. It is filled with nitrogen gas for full tightness according to the IPX6 standard and has such a good proximity limit that even the immediate area can be explored! The eyepiece is permanently mounted but has a twist-type eyecup adapted to glasses. Supplied complete with the eyepiece firmly mounted and a protective/storage bag.
