What makes us happy in the forest?
A long time ago, a small opening, a meadow or a place to live in denser forest was called happiness. Forest happiness can be so much. Maybe to meet the lichen screamer in its old spruce forest or to take a nap in a clearing with the deer. In this book, the nature photographer and journalist Rolf Segerstedt tells about many wonderful encounters in our forests. Forest happiness is a source of inspiration for going out into nature yourself. The first part of the book is diary entries from memorable trips where we make cuts in glades, i.e. clearings in the forest. In the second part of the book, you get tips for more opportunities to see and meet the birds and animals in the forest. The tips increase your chances of a wilder life. In the final third part of the book, we learn more about the concepts of forest bathing and rewilding, which both serve to increase our forest happiness.
