This book provides a complete description of the entire Kungsleden – from Abisko along the north to Hemavan in the south. A special chapter is devoted to our highest mountain, Kebnekaise. The book is written by Fredrik Neregård and Sam Hedman. Fredrik Neregård is a nature photographer and author who has written several popular guidebooks about Sarek, Nordkalottleden and Kebnekaisefjällen. He also wrote three books about hiking, paddling and skating about his home regions in Östergötland. Sam Hedman is a freelance photographer and writer based in Hemavan and southern Lapland. His pictures and texts are often seen in various newspapers and magazines, he is also co-author of a guidebook about mountain hiking in Vindelfjällen.
