Welcome back to Skillnadens trädgård!
Five years have passed since Sara Bäckmo's first book Skillnadens Trädgård was published. It immediately took gardening Sweden by storm and made many thousands of readers realize their own gardening dreams. Seventeen years have passed since Sara bought the charming house with the overgrown garden. Now she offers us an updated and expanded anniversary version of the book, where we get to know how the various seeds, plans, family life and dreams went. In a brand new chapter, Sara tells us what did best and which bushes should have been planted elsewhere, how to switch up to an even bigger harvest and a longer growing season, but also how much the garden gives back in the form of increased well-being and peace of mind .
In Skillnadens Trädgård, Sara shares the joy she feels in growing vegetables, fruit and berries. She gives simple and concrete advice on how to go about becoming almost completely self-sufficient in vegetables. It's a lot about testing yourself, daring to experiment and living with the kitchen garden, rather than having a vegetable farm. And the beauty of a garden is that no matter how it happens to be this year, there will always be a new spring.
Sara Bäckmo is the Nordics' foremost garden profile with many 100,000 followers via her blog, YouTube channel and other social media. In the summer of 2020, she was a summer host in Summer in P1.
