Nikon Monarch HG is a retro-designed binocular with high quality in every detail, from the feel of focusing to the optics with a bright and high-contrast image with a large field of view.
With a magnesium chassis and only a thin rubber cover, the weight is kept down to a manageable level for everyone. Fluorite-containing ED glass reduces color bleeding to imperceptible levels and an additional "Field Flattener lens" provides a distortion-free image with absolute edge sharpness without curvature at the outer edges of the image, something normally only found on models that cost twice as much. The eyecups are screw-type and adjustable in several positions to, together with the good eye distance, guarantee a full field of vision both with and without glasses. Of course, the binoculars are filled with nitrogen gas for full tightness against water, dust and condensation. The coating of the front lenses provides a reflection-free image with perfect color reproduction. Case, strap, eyepiece cover and front lens cover included.
