Zeiss entry-level model in pocket format.
With ED glass in the lens, double joint, a slightly larger focusing wheel than on previous pocket models as well as equally large lenses whether you choose 8x or 10x magnification, you take up the fight with the competition. Fluorite-containing ED glasses counteract so-called chromatic aberration, which gives a crisp and true-to-color image reproduction. The diopter adjustment is located separately between the lenses at the front of the bridge. The eyecups are of the twist type which are lockable in the top and bottom positions, but lack intermediate positions. The body is covered with a grip-friendly rubber that also has the now typical Zeiss character with a rounded edge on the outside, to promote finger grip. With relatively large eyepieces, the Terra 8x25 Compact is quite easy to use, which is not a given on all mini binoculars.
