Kowa SV is a series of light and ergonomically flexible binoculars designed for everyone.
They are manufactured in a Chinese factory and therefore deliver fine optics that provide value for money. The binoculars are filled with nitrogen gas and therefore fully waterproof. The design laced with red details is slightly larger than you might expect, while the weights are strikingly light. The focusing wheel is large and inspires confidence, the close range is excellent. Diopter is adjusted with a traditional ring on the right eyepiece and it is sluggish enough not to be accidentally shaken. The eyecups are screw type with a total of four positions and offer a full field of vision for spectacle wearers. The crowning glory is nanocoating, i.e. a dirt- and water-repellent coating on the outer lenses. This is completely new in this price segment and facilitates lens care and use in wet situations. The 8x32 offers the largest field of view of the models in the series and is thus perhaps the best reconnaissance binoculars. The binoculars are delivered with a belt bag in cordura fabric, a very wide and comfortable neoprene strap (same as for the more expensive Kowa), eyepiece protection in rubber and simple lens caps.
