I always thought that a small garden would do just fine, with roses climbing the house walls and tulips galore. Of course there would be a lush vegetable garden and an apple tree that dignified in autumn. Bumblebees would buzz in the air and it would preferably rain when I wasn't at home. My dream came true (except for the rain thing) and my goal with this book is to convey my passion for gardening to you. I have worked for a long time with cultivation and I have learned some practical things along the way. I hope that my knowledge can contribute to you also having a fun and pleasant garden to enjoy. The garden is a room in our lives that is just as important as the kitchen or the living room, and with a large portion of gardening enthusiasm you create your own and highly personal idyll. / John Taylor
Taylor's garden is an invaluable handbook for those who have recently started gardening or who already have a great interest in gardening. Clear instructions and plant lists are mixed with John Taylor's personal storytelling. John Taylor is the gardener that followers of SVT's long-running program Trädgårdstider have been charmed by for many years. Few can match such a strong personality with such solid cultivation skills. When John is not recording TV shows, podcasting or lecturing, he tends his allotment garden in Malmö and plants apple trees for his own cider production.
Votes for the book:
"John Taylor is a gardener known from Trädgårdstider on SVT, who in his latest book Taylor's garden gives a personal, thorough and inspiring insight into his allotment garden in Malmö. The language is personal but instructive with Taylor's solid knowledge as a framework, and appeals to both the beginner who gives on their first garden and those who want to develop an existing one."
