NexYZ is a lightweight and seemingly complicated device to connect your smartphone to your magnifying optics, whether it's a binocular, a telescope, a hand-held binocular or a microscope!
Once you learn how it works, it's not that complicated. A number of knobs and dials means that you can have the mobile phone centered on basically anything steplessly. It has an X- and a Y-axis to adjust the mobile's camera laterally and vertically, but also a unique so-called Z-axis (hence the name!) to adjust the mobile vertically from the eyepiece! All knobs are easily accessible and settings are made in seconds. It is just as easy to mount the mobile phone in the holder. With a large finger grip, a spring-loaded clip opens where you let the mobile slide in and lock. The large gripping claw at the top accommodates eyepiece diameters from 33-64 mm diameter and has a thumb screw that acts as a stop/memo. The entire construction is made of plastic with rubber inserts as friction in the grip claw and mobile holder. The axle screws X, Y and Z are in light metal to withstand being screwed many times.
