Leica Ultravid HD PLUS has fluorite glass (HD=High Definition) and nanocoating (AcuaDura) that repels dirt and water and simplifies the cleaning of the external lenses.
They also have an improved coating that provides a higher light transmission than before. This is noticeable in a clearer and even more color neutral image reproduction. A very well-balanced and flexible design in a lightweight magnesium chassis makes this one of the market leaders in terms of ergonomics, optics and low weight. The binoculars are nitrogen filled for full tightness against dust, water and condensation. Leica's patented DualDrive focusing also takes care of the diopter adjustment. The eyecups are screw-type and have intermediate positions for optimal individual adaptation. They can also be removed for cleaning. The Leica Ultravid 10x32 HD-Plus is a perfect companion for those who want to travel light without binoculars as a supplement. In normal daylight conditions, this model performs excellently, while the depth of field becomes somewhat short and sensitive in difficult dusk and dawn situations. Supplied with a cordura bag, rubber lens and eyepiece covers and a wide neoprene strap with standard buckle.
