The collection 'Prästkragar & Blåvinge' is part of Emma Sjödin's botanical series of wild Scandinavian flowers and beautiful insects. Here Emma has combined her favorite techniques pencil & watercolor and created detailed timeless images. The aim has been to show in an artistic way the structure of the flower in buds, blossoms, its stem and the design of the leaves. The patterns come from own studies and compositions of flowers from the summer meadows in Småland at the farm Frövik. The bluewing in the picture lays its eggs on love herb and fat buds. They are found in meadows, pastures and archipelagos.
