Traveller BGA ED is a new compact model with fluorite-containing ED glass for the best possible image reproduction without chromatic aberration (color bleeding), packaged in a very easy-to-grip natural rubber housing with smooth running focusing.
The diopter sits traditionally on the right eyepiece and the twist-type eyecups are easy to adjust between full goggle position (screwed down) or with three intermediate positions to fully unscrewed. Large eyepiece lenses further ensure good glasses fit. The flexible binocular housing in fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate is of course filled with nitrogen gas for full tightness against dust, water and condensation. 10 times magnification makes the binoculars a model powerful enough for the insect watcher as well as the mountain hiker or the viewer who wants to minimize the weight of the equipment. The model also has a very good minimum pupil distance, which makes it suitable for those with close eyes or juniors. Field of view and brightness are a bit lacking here, compared to the 8x32 model. Supplied with a soft neoprene strap, field-grade plastic eyepiece guard and rubber lens cap and a neoprene bag with belt clip. The bag comes with a separate strap.
