Innovative solutions and extremely good proximity make this a butterfly watcher's favorite. Also works very well as supplementary binoculars for everyone. A new world opens up when you enter community studies, we promise!
Papilio is a double-axis porroprismatic construction where the objectives are close together and the eyepiece is articulated for correct pupil distance. The eyecups screw down for full field of vision even with glasses and have an intermediate position to fit all eyes. The diopter adjustment is traditionally located on the right eyepiece. The focusing is very pleasant to handle and the entire binocular housing is coated with a very easy-to-grip and durable so-called rubber paint. Papilio 8.5x21 has higher magnification and thus also poorer field of view and brightness than its sibling 6.5x21. It is noticeable on a somewhat darker image with poorer brightness, but works perfectly during the bright summer months. The binoculars are not waterproof but, properly handled, they can withstand normal use in rain and shower. Supplied with belt bag, eyepiece cover in hard plastic and a strap with click-lock fasteners.
Note the long warranty period!
