Improved in all respects, the new CL Companion offers a compact and user-friendly binocular with very good ergonomics. Larger eyepiece lenses, new eye cups, integrated and lockable dioptre adjustment in the focusing wheel and last but not least - almost 10 percent improved field of view compared to the predecessor.
Both fully cast aluminum housings are held together by a central link where the new focusing wheel with integrated diopter function sits. The binoculars are nitrogen filled for full waterproofing down to a depth of 4 meters and they are designed for full operating temperature between -30 to +70 degrees. The eyecups are now aluminum with a softly rounded rubber rim on top, but they lack spacers. Regardless of which accessory package you choose for your new CL Companion, the neck strap is attached with the same Pro mount as on the most expensive EL binoculars, i.e. with a rotatable click lock mount. Despite the format being slightly larger binoculars than the predecessor, the weight has been reduced by approx. 30 grams.
