Swarovski's previous "worst thing tube" with aluminum chassis with HD glass that counteracts chromatic aberration.
Apart from a slightly higher weight (approx. 70 grams), it has exactly the same specifications as the ATM 80 that was available in the years 2009-2012 and differs in terms of appearance in that the focusing ring is again black, while the lens hood is green in classic Swarovski fashion. The tube is nitrogen-filled and waterproof down to a depth of 4 meters, and functionality is guaranteed in the temperature range -25 to +55 degrees C. Absolute edge sharpness and neutral color reproduction are guaranteed by the so-called Swarotop and Swarodur coatings. In addition, it is easy to keep the lenses clean with Swaroclean, which repels dirt and water. There is a filter thread, but it is at the very end of the lens hood, which in practice means that any filter ends up completely exposed just outside the lens hood. A tailored emergency bag is available as an accessory for those who wish to protect their tube a little extra. See it and all other accessories below.
