W-2004 is a full-height aluminum stand that is a waterproof version of the Sirui R-2004.
It is compact in its shortest transport mode, is very flexible and can be adapted to changing needs and situations. For example, 3/4 of the center column can be removed to get a bird's-eye view and one of the legs can be removed and becomes a one-legged stand. Accessories such as an extra base with wrist strap (for the monopod) and a short center pillar stop are included for these adaptations. From the factory, rubber paws are fitted, but it also comes with spiked feet that can replace these in icy environments. On the lowest of the four leg sections there are memory markings for those who do not need to use the full length of the stand. The tight ring-type leg locks are three in number on each leg, but with a familiar grip they all open at once when unfolded. The tightness means that neither sand nor other dirt can enter and contaminate and thus inhibit the locking functions. As on all Sirui, the spindle is forged metal with a built-in scale. The leg angle stops can be handled with gloves and offer three different leg angles. The Sirui W-2004 fits perfectly for people with 190 cm height without having to reach for the center pillar (if the tube and head are included). Supplied in a padded bag, a shoulder strap and the necessary tools to lock and tighten screws. The carrying strap can also be used to carry the stand in the field. A set of spiked feet is also included, as well as an extra base and wrist strap for the monopod. Good instructions and warranty card included.
